There will be a gathering of friends and family from 11:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at the Joyce Funeral Home in Emmetsburg. Private family graveside services will also take place Saturday.
In Celebration of life for Timothy Earl Kerber, 58 of Pleasant Hill, Iowa. (1959-2017)
Tim was born in Fenton, Iowa to Winston B.and Donalda I. Kerber (Olson) on June 26, 1959. Tim was a graduate of the Emmetsburg High class of 1977. Tim worked for Specialized Bicycle Components in Morgan Hill, California for 30 years before moving to Pleasant Hill to be closer to his grandchildren. Tim was an avid cyclist; a beloved hobby that he shared with his family. He enjoyed weekend outings exploring the coast of California on his motorcycle and many exciting travels. After moving to Iowa "Gepa"....as his grandchildren lovingly referred to him.... lived for weekend trips with his grandchildren; Violet and Briar. They camped, fished, roller skated and ice skated...to name just a few. He doted on them and they absolutely adored him.
Tim was preceded in death by his Father, Winston B. Kerber (1992) and mother Donalda I. Kerber (Olson) in 2017. Tim is survived by his Daughter, Ashley Schaum (Kevin), grandchildren Violet and Briar Schaum. Siblings Barry Kerber, Cherlyn Ruger, Kathy Larson and Jerel Kerber.
