In loving memory of

Victor "Vic" Vaughn
November 19, 1944 - December 19, 2017

Victor Ralph "Vic" Vaughn, 73, of Minneiska, died peacefully from Multiple Myeloma on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at his home. Vic was born November 19, 1944 in Rollingstone to Watson and Mildred (Biltgen) Vaughn. He grew up in Rollingstone and graduated from Holy Trinity Catholic School in 1962. He met Benita "Bunny" Nordsving in December of 1964. They fell in love and married six months later on May 22, 1965. He loved his Bunny. Vic was always there to help Bunny around the house or in the kitchen. The two of them frequently stole the show on the dance floor. He was a family man through and through; from helping his children with homework and projects to creating extravagant scavenger hunts for Christmas gifts for his children and grandchildren. He was very proud of his 5 grandchildren and loved them very much.

Vic worked at Warner & Swasey until he started Vic's House of Glass in Rollingstone in 1976. In 1983 he closed Vic's House of Glass and opened Glass Replacement Company in Winona with his wife Bunny and his brother, Pat. Vic and Pat ran the company for 31 years, leaving his mark on Winona and the surrounding area, before retiring in 2014. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Minneiska and the Elks Club.

Vic was known for doing everything to the best of his ability; he worked hard, he lived and loved to the fullest, and was a true man of faith.

Vic is survived by his wife of 52 years, Benita "Bunny"; children, Eric (Valerie) Vaughn, Vicky Vaughn; grandchildren, Audreanna, Renata, Aiden, Nadia, Christian; siblings, Arlys Bade, Kenneth (Carol) Vaughn, Harold "Butch" Vaughn, Patrick (Donna) Vaughn. He is preceded in death by and infant daughter, Tracy Lynn Vaughn; brother, Myles Vaughn; mother-in-law, Louise Nordsving.

A memorial service will be held 12:30 PM, Saturday, January 6, 2018 with visitation starting at 9:30 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Minneiska. Private family interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
Vic's family would like to extend a special thank you to Dick and Jackie Swanson, Ken and Carol Vaughn, and Pat and Donna Vaughn for their care and compassion at the end of Vic's life. They would also like to say thank you to Winona Health Hospice for their help to bring Vic home for his final remaining days. Please leave a memory and sign Vic's Online Guestbook at hofffuneral.com
