"Melvin, Lou, Cheri, Cindy, and Chris, and families, We were so sorry to learn of the loss of Betty. I know that she meant so much to all of you and she touched everyone she encountered. You all meant the world to her as well. She was always talking about the kids and the grandkids. You were her life and she was so very proud of all of you. I know that she will be watching over all of you. She always had a smile on her face. I remember her sitting at the diningroom table reading the cookbooks to see what she might find in them. Always something good as I recall. I know that she will be greatly missed. Melvin, I apologize that we were not able to make it to Keokuk for the visitation for funeral. We would like to come down soon though and see you if that would be ok. We thought that it would be nice to be able to visit with you for a bit instead of being rushed. We will be in touch soon. Love always, Renae, Todd, Clara "
