Luella C. Rueber
July 23, 1920 - December 25, 2017
She was born July 23, 1920 in Olmsted County and passed away December 25, 2017 at Madonna Towers in Rochester. She attended rural School District 35 and graduated from Rochester High School in 1937. Luella married Vyril Rueber on August 29, 1939. He passed away in 2003.
She was a member of the Oronoco Presbyterian Church and served as a deacon. She was also a member of the Oronoco Senior Citizens. She enjoyed reading, playing cards and traveling winters to Florida. Luella and Vyril spent 17 winters in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
She is survived by her family, Robert and Jacky Rueber, Dale Rueber, Kim and Jerry Jensen, Alexandra and Josh Pister, Shelly and Josh Harens, Michael and Nicole Kann, Vincent Harens, Daisy Harens, Willow Harens, Jett Harens, Ryder Kann, and Logan Kann.
She was preceded in death by her husband Vyril and her parents Fred and Ada Gliem.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home 5421 Royal Place NW Rochester, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Friday at Ranfranz and Vine. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to Madonna Towers or Seasons Hospice.
