Mildred L. Eckhoff

Mildred L. Eckhoff, 93, of Alexander, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017, at the Franklin Country View Nursing Facility in Hampton, Iowa. She was born on February 12, 1924, in Wisner Township, Alexander, Iowa, to George and Grace (Schmidt) Eckhoff. Mildred graduated from Alexander High School in 1941.
Mildred was a member of the First Reformed Church of Alexander and a member of the Church Ladies Guild. She also was a member of the Alexander Cemetery Society.
Mildred worked most of her life at the W.P. Aldinger Store in Alexander until retiring. She then worked part time at Rosie's Outpost and the Alexander Library.
Mildred is survived by her sister-in-law, Dorothy Eckhoff and nephew, Wayne (Jane) Eckhoff.
She is preceded in death by her parents, bothers Raymond and Harold, nephew Darrell and niece Marsha.
