Shirley J. Crespino
June 29, 1926 - January 1, 2018

Shirley June Crespino, 91, of Kingston, passed away Monday, January 1, 2018. She was born June 29, 1926 in Kingston, to the late Myron and Minnie (Brown) Silkworth. She was married to her husband of 66 years, Anthony Louis Crespino, they wed on September 8, 1946. Anthony passed away on February 19, 2013.

Shirley was a Kingston High School graduate, Class of 1944 and later graduated from Edgewood Park in Briarcliff Manor, NY, with a degree in Interior Design. Shirley was a past member of B.P.O. Elks #550 Ladies Auxiliary. She loved arts and crafts, carpentry, working in the yard, word search puzzles, and her dogs, cats, and horses. Above all she loved her family and granddaughter.

She is survived by her children, Darryl Crespino and his wife Jennifer, Deborah Mannello and her husband Joseph, Desiree Crespino-Rossi and her husband James, all of Kingston, Donyelle Sears and her husband Sean of Hyde Park, and Damon Crespino and his wife Joy of Pawleys Island, SC, her granddaughter, Shelby Crespino, several nieces and nephews, as well as her dear friend and neighbor, Kathy Yeager. In addition to her husband and parents she is predeceased by her siblings, Ella Rossi, Colleen Crespino, and George Silkworth.

Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, where family and friends may visit on Thursday January 4, 2018 from 4pm to 8pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday January 5, 2018 at 10am. Burial will follow in Montrepose Cemetery, Kingston.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Ulster County SPCA www.ucspca.org or St. Jude Children's Hospital at www.StJude.org.
