Deborah "Debi" Payne

Deborah Ann ''Debi'' Payne, passed away November 18, 2017. She was born in Kingston, NY to Carl Edward Modjeska and the late Donna Mildred (Smith) Modjeska. Debi married Timothy L. "Jay" Payne, Jr., on January 13, 2007 in San Diego, CA.

She was a graduate of Onteora High School in 1977 and later the Culinary Institute of America on January 21, 2007, where she received her Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts. Debi worked for many years as a server at Reginato's Ristorante in Lake Katrine, NY. She was a lover of gardening, rock collecting, being a chef, reading, and living a Christian fundamental of life.

Debi is survived by her husband, Timothy L. "Jay" Payne, Jr., her sons, Spencer Andrew Payne, and Gabriel Ashton Payne, her siblings, Justin Kern, Cynde Modjeska, Carla Monteleone, Karen Alessandro, her niece, Nicole Foti, and her nephews, Tucker Foti and J.C. Alessandro.

Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave, Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Saturday January 6, 2017, from 10am to 12pm with the memorial service starting at 12pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to, Patient Access Network (PAN) Short Bowel Syndrome, 1331 F St. NW #975, Washington, DC 20004.
