Sandra L. Magg-Brawner, age 67 of Colfax, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at Skiff Medical Center in Newton. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax. Burial will follow at the Mitchellville Cemetery. The family will greet friends following the burial at the Mitchellville Community Center for a luncheon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Accura East Activity Fund, the Colfax Fire Department or the Colfax United Methodist Church. The daughter of Leo Duane and Phyllis Kathleen (Davenport) Magg, Sandra was born on July 8, 1950 in Colfax. She graduated from Colfax High School. On August 5, 1989, Sandra was united in marriage to Tracy Brawner in Mingo. She was a member of the Colfax United Methodist Church. Sandra enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, listening to country music and playing bingo every Thursday in the nursing home.
Those left to honor her memory include her two sisters, Linda (Paul) Walter and Shirley (Dave) Engel; a sister-in-law, Marilee Magg and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, Tracy in 1990; two sisters, Judy Magg and Karen Stoaks and a brother, Gary Magg.
