Gregg Lee Fisher
March 17, 1956 - January 2, 2018

Keswick- Gregg Lee Fisher was born March 17, 1956 in Sigourney, Iowa the son of Donald Leo & Roselyn Marie (Peiffer) Fisher. He was a 1975 graduate of Tri-County High School in Thornburg. On April 27, 1984 Gregg was united in marriage to Lora Lee Shettler at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. He was a life long resident and farmer in the Keswick area. He also worked in housekeeping at the English Valley Care Center for many years. Gregg was a former member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Keswick before it's closing. He enjoyed bowling and fast pitch softball in his younger years, and was an avid sports fan, especially if Notre Dame or the Green Bay Packers were playing. Gregg died on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City, at the age of 61 years.

He is survived by his wife Lora Lee Fisher of Keswick; a son Patrick (Sheila) Fisher of Keota; two grandchildren Lexton Lee Fisher and Hallie Marie Fisher both of Keota; three brothers Allen Fisher of Keswick, Arlen (Patty) Fisher of North English and Brian (Patty) Fisher of South English; three sisters Doneta (Tom) Stephenson of Keswick, Judy (Mike) Weldon of Cedar Rapids and Lisa (David) Axmear of North English; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents and a son Nathan Mitchell Fisher.

Celebration of Life Service will be held 3:00 pm on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the Powell Funeral Home in North English. Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until service time at 3:00 pm on Saturday. Burial will be held at a later date at the White Pigeon Cemetery, rural Webster.
