"Todd and charlene, my deepest sympathy for your loss. Ted and i grew up together on the farm and like two young boys we swam the mighty maquoketa river. We hiked and hunted the hills and valleys for miles in every direction from the farm. We worked with parents and friends doing all of the harvesting and caring for the livestock. Ted and i had the honor of hand milking about 20 cows. What a job! He helped me build a house in clinton in the early 70's when you two were babies. I hope to see you friday.????'? jim wells"

"Todd & Jennifer, Charlene and family, Kate and Lora, we are sorry for your lost and you are in our prayers to make it through this difficult time. We will remember Ted for the moment that stood still in time at Jennifer's and Todd's wedding. It was in that moment one did not often see from Ted. As he dancced with his daughter and toasted to his son and wife, there was a since of pride to be felt and wordless expression of love. Rest in peace Ted.-- Jim and Marcy Nelson "
