In loving memory of

Sheila M. Walsh
April 10, 1958 - January 5, 2018

Vibrant, passionate, determined, loving and loved. Sheila Marie Walsh, 59, passed away Friday, January 5, 2018 at her home in Rochester.
Sheila was born April 10, 1958 in St. Croix Falls, WI to Leslie and Lynnette (Gebhart) Chase. She was a graduate of Dwight D. Eisenhower High School, class of 1976. On August 10, 1979, Sheila married Allyn Walsh in Hopkins, MN at St. Joseph Church.
Sheila devoted her life to raising her family. As her youngest child approached graduation she returned to her own aspirations to pursue a career. It became a challenge to see who would graduate first. She won! Just before she sent her youngest child off to college, she achieved her certification as a cancer registrar. Sheila found a new passion working for Mayo Clinic and was a committed member of the National Cancer Registrars Association.
Sheila is survived by her loving husband, Allyn; children, Jesse (Sheila) Walsh of Ames, IA., Breallyn (Brandon) Winter of Pine Island, MN., and Teagan (David Cunningham) Walsh of St. Paul, MN; grandchildren, Torin and Jax Winter, Nathaniel and Alexander Walsh. Sheila is also survived by her parents, Leslie and Lynnette Chase; sisters, Jennifer Weibel, Cindy (Jim) Toupin, Lisa (Jim) Filiatrault and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, David Chase.
