John Hoellbacher
December 30, 1922 - January 8, 2018

John Hoellbacher passed away January 8, 2018 in Rochester, MN surrounded by the love and company of his family. John was born December 30, 1922 in Salzburg, Austria. He immigrated to the United States with his wife Paula and their son, Manfred. Their son, Henry would be born later in the U.S. John enjoyed spending time with family, working with his hands, fishing, and traveling. He was a devout Christian and loved his church family and attending services every Sunday. John is preceded in death by his wife Paula and his son Henry. He is survived by his sons Hans and Manfred;daughter in law Erlinda; grandchildren Jerico (Sierra) Granadil, Paula (Andy) Fisher, and Maria Hoellbacher; great-grandchildren Elijah, Allyah, Avery, Kyler, Aya, Pheonix, Daxton, and Jackson; and his dear friend Ingrid. He will be greatly missed and remembered fondly by his family that loved him so very much. In lieu of flowers or donations towards John's memorial service, the family request all donations be made to the Rochester Assembly of God to assist with the great works the church does in the community that John loved.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 12, 2018 at Rochester Assembly Church 4240 18th Ave. NW. Visitation will be Thursday January 11, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home 5421 Royal Place NW and 1 hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens, Rochester.
