Joan Fraley Partin
January 18, 1944 - January 8, 2018

Joan Fraley Partin, age 73 of Estill Springs, passed away Monday, January 8, 2018 at St. Thomas West after a lengthy illness. She was an accountant, retired from All Van Inc. and was a member of Kedron United Methodist Church in Smyrna. She enjoyed gardening, playing with her grandchildren, auctions and watching her grandchildren play sports. Preceding her in death were her father, Jesse Lee Fraley; paternal grandparents, Comer and Betty Fraley; and maternal grandparents, Robert and Bertha Renegar. She is survived by her husband of 54 years (whom she met while working at the Hat Factory), Charles Thomas Partin of Estill Springs; son, Jonathan Scot (Vicki) Partin of Winchester; mother, Kathleen Renegar Fraley of Murfreesboro; brothers, Larry (Fay) Fraley of Smyrna, Danny (Martha) Fraley of Murfreesboro and Nicky (Nancy) Fraley of Winchester; sisters, Carolyn (Benny) Workman of Winchester, Patricia (Jim) Clardy of Murfreesboro and Norma (Justin) Floyd of Hillsboro; grandchildren, Connor Scot Partin, Morgan Leanne Partin, Victoria Taylor Whitaker and Henry Thomas Whitaker; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Wednesday at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 pm Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Moore-Cortner Chapel with Dr. James Clardy officiating. Interment will follow at Franklin Memorial Gardens. Marc Fraley, Butch Partin, Danny Fraley, Larry Fraley, Nicky Fraley and Connor Partin will be serving as pallbearers. Special thanks to her sister, Carolyn Workman for all her help and support during her sickness. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be given to Kedron United Methodist Church, 6650 Kedron Church Rd, Smyrna, TN 37167.
