Peggy Sue Acquisto, age 42, of the Whiting section of Manchester passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 in Lakehurst. Born in Hackensack, Peggy Sue was a longtime resident of Whiting.
Peggy Sue was a music fan, with an interest in many genres. She was a gifted athlete while in high school, and excelled at track and field.
She is survived by her loving parents, Joseph and Susan; her grandmother, Rose Acquisto of Holdmel; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Cremation was private and entrusted to Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River.
A memorial service celebrating Peggy Sue's life will be celebrated at Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services on Sunday, March 4, 2018 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.
