Helen Patricia Seibert
September 10, 1929 - January 9, 2018

Helen, 88, died January 9, 2018 at Granger Manor. After high school, Helen was married to her love Marion Charles Seibert on June 27, 1947 in Perry. They were proud parents of five children: Martin, Marilyn, Marian, Marie and Martha. She worked for Pamida as a clerk and Hi-Line International Farm of Dallas Center. Helen had a fondness for the outdoors and loved watching birds especially cardinals and working in her garden. Helen was a member of St. Patricks Church in Perry for many years. Helen showered her family with love and was very close to her grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory are her children Marilyn Kern (Roger) of Grimes, Marian Mash of Minburn, Marie Hawbaker (Greg) of Dallas Center, Martha Renfrow (Danny) of Dallas Center, Martin Seibert of Des Moines; eleven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and two sisters Jolene Welder of Herndon and Florence Salisbury of Cortland, IL. Mass will be at 10 a.m., January 13, 2018, at the Catholic Church in Perry. Burial will be at Violet Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be left or sent to Hastings funeral home for later designation by the family.
