LORINA M. CORBIN
February 24, 1956 - December 2, 2010

Lorina Marlene Corbin, 54 of Nevada died on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames.  Memorial services will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, December 18 at the United Methodist Church in Colo, 602 Fourth Street in Colo with Pastor Lewis S. Flanigan.
Lorina was born on February 24, 1956 in Ames to Roscoe Harold and Mildred (Craig) Beach.  On November 25, 1977, she married Dwight Corbin in Fernald.  She was employed at Wal-Mart and had been previously employed at Staples and Graphic Forms.  Lorina was a member of AARP.  She enjoyed camping, outdoor activities, spending time with family, sewing, fishing and painting ceramics.
Lorina is survived by her husband, Dwight Corbin of Nevada,; 2 daughters, Jessy (John) Jae Jackson of Nevada and Joleen R. (Kurt) Hulsebus of Ames; a grandchild Haylee Jackson; her mother, Mildred Beach of Colo; a brother, Duncan Beach of Colo; a sister, Doreen Craig of Tama.
Lorina was preceded in death by her father Roscoe Beach and a sister Robin Hong.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 17 from 4-7:00 p.m. again at the United Methodist Church in Colo.

Cemetery:

No graveside services are planned.
