Mildred Carter of Antigo died , July 5, 2007, at Eastview Medical & Rehabilitation Center in Antigo. She is 85 years old.
She was born January 18, 1922 in Larksvillle, PA to the late Stefan and Stella (Bruzda) Klimczewski
She married Waid Carter on May 5, 1945. He died in Nov 23, 1969.
Mrs. Carter was raised in the Trenton, NJ where she met her husband while he was at Ft. Dix, NJ during WWll.
After marriage she moved to Antigo. She was employed as a nurse's aid at the Langlade Memorial Hospital for 30 years. She retired in 1984.
She enjoyed reading and knitting. She was a supporter of the Langlade County Humane Society

A sister Vonda Rester, Quaker Hill, CN

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 5 sisters Jean Zazzaro, Ada Azarowicz, Marion Rak, Stella Andrezewski and Johanna Skrzydlinski and 2 brothers Stephen and John Klimczewski and a grandson Tyler Barten.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 7, 2007 at 11:00 am at the Bradley Funeral Home. Rev. Donald Engebretson will officiate. Visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Bradley Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Elmwood Cemetery in Antigo. On line condolence may be made at www.bradleyfh.com.
