Robert Howell, 84, of Keokuk, IA, died Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at River Hills Village in Keokuk. He was born on June 18, 1933 in Clark County, MO, the son of Russell and Alice Shuler Howell Burke. He married Norma Snell on October 9, 1955 and they later divorced. Robert worked at Jamison Chevrolet and McCredie Motors in Keokuk for many years. He enjoyed watching NASCAR. He is survived by one brother, Delbert Howell of Sunriver, OR, two sisters, Martha Weirather of Marion, IA and Edith Wooldridge of Burlington, IA and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, two sisters, four brothers-in-law, and two sisters-in-law. Cremation has been accorded. There will be no services or visitation at this time. A private family burial will be held at a later date at Little Mound Cemetery in rural Keokuk. Memorials may be made to the Little Mound Cemetery Association at 2465 Johnson Street Road Keokuk, IA 52632 Special thank you to the staff of River Hills Village for Robert's (Bob's) wonderful care he received during his stay.
