Delorice M. Martin
December 1, 1921 - January 11, 2018

Delorice Moore Martin was born on December 1, 1921 in Lincoln, County, Tennessee to Robert T. Moore and Jesse Faulkner Moore. Her stepmother Ethel Moore; her brothers Gene Moore, Clifton Moore, and John Allen Moore; and her sisters Bobby Dean Hampton, and Janice Moore preceded her in death.
In 1941, she married Howard Dean Martin. They were happily married for sixty-nine years and lived on a 100 year farm that her son Bill continues to maintain. She was a dedicated member of Booneville United Methodist Church for seventy-six years.
Delorice took much pride in her family and is survived by her son William Dean Martin and his wife Sherry Smith Martin of Lynchburg; her three grandchildren Stacie Martin Newton and her husband Rob Newton, William Andrew Martin and his wife Diana Pena Martin, Megan Martin Frazier and her husband Wesley Frazier, and her eight great grandchildren Julia Anne Newton, Robert Caleb Newton, Allie Grace Newton, Isabella Anne Martin, Hannah Elizabeth Martin, Annesley Elise Frazier, Gabriella Karis Frazier, and Charlotte Mae Frazier.
Mrs. Martin passed from this life Thursday, January 11 at Lincoln Medical Center in Fayetteville, TN.
Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Saturday at Jennings-Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 14, 2018 in the Jennings-Moore-Cortner Chapel with Rev. Billy Langford and Rev. Roy Hopkins officiating. Interment will follow at Booneville Cemetery.
