Tressa Louise Heckman, 83, of Winona, MN, passed on to eternal life peacefully on Thursday, January 11, 2018, at St. Anne of Winona. Born February 12, 1934, in Woonsocket, Rhode Island to George and Marie (Pearlweiler) Denler.
She married George T. Heckman Jr. on November 25,1966 and together they raised a large family living in many locations from the East coast to the Midwest until they settled in Winona, MN. She retired from Lake Center Industries. She enjoyed rummage sales, Christmas, sewing, gardening, fishing, animals and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. They will always hold a special place in their hearts for her.
Survivors include her children Linda Schumacher, Randy Schumacher, Jeffery Schumacher Sr., Wendy (Scott) Andreske, Kimberly (Glen "Buck") Brist, Pamela (Geoff) Fuerstenau, Patricia Heckman, and Tracey Heckman. Her grandchildren Kristine, Britni, Joshua, Kaylee, Korey, Kollin, Kenzie, Christopher, Isaac, Mitchel, Alec, Bryce, Cooper and Liberty. Great grandchildren Hunter, Lexi, Cali, Aubre, Anna and Marshall. Special friends Debra, Maxine & Yvonne. Siblings Charles Denler, Beverly Hanscum, Betty Ray and Kathrine East. She is predeceased by her parents, George & Marie Denler, her late husband, George T. Heckman, and her grandsons Jeffery Schumacher Jr. and Zachery Muller; and a special friend Marilyn.
A Celebration of Life will be 1 p.m., Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Hoff Celebration of Life Center - Goodview with Memorial Services with Rev. Kathy Schuler officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service. A private family burial will be held at a later date at Woodlawn Cemetery. Please leave a memory of Tressa at www.hofffuneral.com.
