In loving memory of

Charlene Kay Huston
October 5, 1957 - January 14, 2018

After a courageous battle with cancer, Charlene went home to be with her God on Sunday morning, January 14, 2018. The family feels great comfort in knowing that she is free from pain and enjoying the joy of being Home with other dear family members. No matter her life circumstance, she always had a kind word for everyone, was quick with her humor, a genuine smile, and was as generous as she could be....with her time, her willingness to help, and her genuine love for all people. She loved music and was particularly touched by worship music. She so richly blessed lives everywhere she went, and will be so missed.

Charlene is preceded in death by her parents, Eldon & Betty Bartscher; brothers, David & Doran Bartscher.

She is survived by her children, Christopher DeVries, Benjamin (Charity) DeVries, Brooke Poepard; grandchildren, Jacie DeVries, Dakota DeVries, Trinity DeVries, Kyra Poepard, Kierson Poepard; siblings, Danny (Cindy) Bartscher, Dale (Jan) Bartscher, Damon (Debbie) Bartscher, Devon (Ann) Bartscher, Donnie (Deb) Bartscher, Cathy (Soubhi) Hamed, Cheryl (Ernie) Bixby; sister-in-laws, Eileen Bartscher, Yvonne Bartscher; Many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

Tributes

Jetty Leasure wrote on Jan 16, 2018:

"She called me Yetta ( Jetty, actually) and she was Charlie to me, a buddy in my quirky gardening adventures if i ever had one! Looking out at my little garden, now covered with beautiful snow, I can still see and hear her comments, smelling the lavender ( her favorite scent), enjoying the total picture that she helped create. It will be very strange not to have you as a neighbor, Charlie. You were the greatest!"
