Bernard "Ben" E. Wyatt
August 23, 1925 - January 14, 2018

Bernard "Ben" Wyatt, age 92 of Rochester, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Samaritan Bethany.
Ben was born August 23, 1925 in Rochester to Norman and Freida (Schacht) Wyatt. He attended Rochester schools and graduated in 1943. He was drafted into the U.S. Army and served from 1943 to 1946 and took part in the Battle of the Bulge and Colmar Pocket. After coming home, he started in the beverage business in January of 1947 which he remained in until July of 1987.
On October 20, 1946 Ben married Evelyn Kunze and they made their home in Rochester. Together, they enjoyed traveling to Europe and all 50 states, especially Hawaii, taking cruises.
Ben was a dedicated member and past commander of the American Legion Post #92 along with serving on the Honor Guard.
Survivors include a sister Glenna Kellar of Eyota; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, a brother, a sister, and his parents.
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 22, 2018 at Oakwood Cemetery in Rochester, with full military honors by American Legion Post #92. Luncheon will follow at Trinity Lutheran Church 222 6th Ave. SW in Rochester.
Memorials are preferred to Trinity Lutheran Church or the donor's choice.
