Brent Lee Carver
October 10, 1954 - January 14, 2018

It is with great sadness that the family of Brent L. Carver announces his passing on January 14, 2018, at his home in Zearing, Iowa. A memorial service and celebration of Brent's life will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, January 27, 2018, at the Dakins Community Center, Zearing, Iowa. Interment of cremains will be in the Lincoln Township Cemetery, Zearing, Iowa, at a later date.

"Carver" was born October 10, 1954, to Gerald Wayne and Stella (Cockerham) Carver. He graduated from NESCO Community School in 1972. A life-long resident of Zearing, he worked locally as a contractor with his father at Carver Construction, carpenter with Rich Lepper Construction from 1988-1998 and independently as Brent Carver Construction. He enjoyed playing guitar for the band Sneaky Pete.
Many know Brent as an avid Hawkeye fan, guitarist, pet lover, good friend and a man of many words. We shall all miss his vivacious personality and overwhelming conversations.

He is survived by his sister Denise (Ralph) Hill; brother Lance (Jacki Pickles) Carver; 3 nieces: Amber (David) Kabala, Jordan (Taylor) Accardi, Genna Carver; 3 nephews: Jared (Mindy) Hill, Nathan (Shannon) Hill, Drew (Mallory) Carver; 2 great nephews: Strider Kabala, Raiden Kabala; 2 great-nieces; Avery Hill, Willow Kabala; uncle Russell Dallas Carver; sister-in-law Carrie Carver and many cousins, dear friends...and his dog named Peege.

Brent was preceded in death by brother Gregg Carver and parents Wayne and Stella.

The family requests no flowers. Please feel free to dress casual or wear Hawkeye attire.
