Mrs. Betty Hadley, 89, of Davenport passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Good Samaritan Society. A visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, January, 18, 2018 at the Runge Mortuary. Funeral services will be at 12:00 pm Friday, January 19, 2018 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel with a luncheon to follow. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com. Betty Mae Kling was born on September 27, 1928 in Davenport, IA to Leo and Loretta Kling. On November 15, 1946 she married Gene (Bud) Hadley. He preceded her in death in 1991. She was a long time employee of Donutland and Happy Joe's. Betty was also a long time member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Davenport. Betty is survived by five daughters: Sandra Siebel, Carol (Mike) Gillen, Constance Bishop, Vicki McCalester and Angela (Scott) Rodenburg; six grandsons; seven granddaughters; thirteen great grandchildren; three brothers and three sisters. In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by a daughter, Judith, one brother and three sisters. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Good Samaritan Society for the care and compassion Betty received.
