Dale Andrew Palsa,
56, of Indianapolis passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018. He was born March 1, 1961 in Cleveland, OH to Andrew Thomas and Maryann Josephine (Klecan) Palsa. He graduated from Pike High School in 1979 and then attended Indiana University-Bloomington. Dale worked for Marsh Supermarkets as a meat manager, and then started with Dr. Pepper Snapple Group in 1993. He held the position of Delivery Service Manager.
Dale was a kind and gentle soul who always put his family first. He lived for good times with family and friends and always had a fun, positive attitude. Dale loved golf and played as often as humanly possible. He was a longtime member of the USGA and a familiar face at Pebble Brook Golf Course. Dale particularly enjoyed a rousing game of euchre alongside a fine bottle of tequila. He enjoyed doing yardwork and took great pride in always keeping a meticulous lawn. Dale loved all sports. He especially enjoyed cheering for IU basketball, the Indianapolis Colts, and the Cleveland Indians. He was also a great fan of Indy Car Racing. He was an avid Seinfeld fanatic.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Sally Jane (Parker) Palsa; his loving daughter, Hannah Elizabeth Palsa; his dear father, Andrew Thomas Palsa; devoted sister, Debbie (Palsa) Kurtzhals and dear nephew, Steven Kurtzhals; as well as a host of dear friends and family.
Dale was preceded in death by his daughter, Rebecca Jane Palsa and his mother Maryann Josephine Palsa.
Visitation and a Celebration of Life for Dale will be from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm on Saturday, January 27th at Leppert Mortuary - Nora Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Alzheimer's Association or to Humane Society of Indianapolis.
