Virginia A. Anderson, 83 of Rochester, MN died Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Saint Marys Hospital.
Virginia Anne Jasmer was born November 21, 1934 to Clarence and Elene (Fischer) Jasmer in Winona, MN. In 1952 she graduated from Winona Senior High School. She married Lyle Anderson in 1957 and they later divorced. Virginia worked at several different hotels in the Rochester area. She enjoyed visiting her family in Green Bay, WI.
She is survived by one son, Mike Anderson of Rochester; one grandson, Corey Gore; and two brothers, Charlie Jasmer of Green Bay, WI and John (Renee) Jasmer of Green Bay, WI. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Gail Anderson and one sister, Elizabeth Tennant.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church (2124 Viola Road NE). Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery.
