Dorothy F. Peplau
April 24, 1926 - January 28, 2018

Dorothy F. Peplau, 91, formerly of Muhlenberg Twp., passed away Sunday, January 28th in Berks Heim.

Dorothy was married to the late Carl J. Peplau who passed away December 15, 2008. Dorothy and Carl were married May 5, 1950 and celebrated fifty eight years of marriage.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Mildred (Adams) Frank.

Dorothy was a former member of Epiphany Lutheran Church in Temple and currently a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Laureldale.

Dorothy graduated from Muhlenberg High School in 1944.

Dorothy was employed for twenty years as a Secretary in the Engineering Department at Carpenter Technology Corporation until her retirement in 1985.

Dorothy is survived by a twin daughter, Cindy J. Peplau and her companion Donald A. Frederick of Muhlenberg Twp.

Dorothy is predeceased by a twin daughter, Penny E. Peplau who passed away July 7, 2011.

The family would like to thank the staff of B1 at Berks Heim for the loving care they provided for Dorothy for the past three years.

Graveside services will be private at the convenience of the family.
