Funeral services for Mrs. Dorthy Jo Bilbrey Sidwell, age 72, of Hilham will be conducted 4 p.m., Sunday, March 19, 2017 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Bro. Lukas Cantrell will officiate at the the Funeral Home and Pastor Jeremy Bilbrey will officiate at the graveside. Burial will be in the Mt. Gilead Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Saturday evening from 5 until 8 p.m., & on Sunday from 3 p.m. until time of services at 4 p.m.
Mrs. Sidwell passed from this life in the comfort of her home on Friday morning, March 17, 2017. She was born in Overton County October 19, 1944 to the late Charlie & Dessi Lee Hammonds Bilbrey. Dorthy Jo loved spending time with her family and cooking for them. She enjoyed reading & yard sales. She had a servants heart, always putting others first.
She is survived by her daughter, Dr. Tammy Stewart of Crossville, TN; son, Tim Stewart & wife Kathy of Lewisburg, KY; grandchildren, Lukas Cantrell, Jacob Cantrell, Gary Frady, Skylar Stewart & Brooke Stewart; great grandchildren, Connor Cantrell & Casandra Cantrell; brothers, David, Ralph & Danny Bilbrey; sisters, Margaret Leach, Bonnie Wright, Barbara Bilbrey, Anita Walker & Sandy Ramsey; numerous neices & nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Lois Allred & Charlene Hicks; brothers, Doug Bilbrey, Bill Bilbrey & Kenneth Biblrey.
Pallbearers to serve are Chris Leach, Doug Robbins, Drew Bilbrey, Dale Bilbrey, Jordan Bilbrey & Brian Bilbrey.
