Funeral services for Mrs. Donna Jean Bowers, age 75, of the Twin Oaks Road Community will be conducted 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Bowers Family Cemetery. The family will welcome friends Tuesday evening April 25, 2017 from 5 until 8 p.m. at Speck Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bowers passed from this life on Sunday morning, April 23, 2017 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born in Pontiac, Michigan on November 8, 1941 to the late Jewell & Anna Della Grace Sproul Daugherty. She was Baptist by faith. Donna loved spending time with her grandchildren, she loved her flowers, reading, and she loved her job & the people she worked with.

Donna Jean Bowers is survived by her son, Gregory Allan Bowers of Livingston, TN; daughters, Shelly Patterson & fiancee Brian Buck, Tanya Bowers & fiancee Derrick Rottman, Livingston, TN; son-in-law, James Bull; grandchildren, Brittany Bowers, Jonathan Coffman, Heather Bull, Haylee Bowers, Brianna Bowers, Alonna Jean Bowers; step-grandchild, Amber Patterson, great grandchildren, Braxton Coffman, Camme Waddey, Xavier Gibson; sister, Joy Ann Smith & husband Kyle from Attica, Michigan.

In addition to her parents, Donna is preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Leo Bowers; sisters, Olive Daugherty, Patricia Christner; brothers, Patrick, Clifford, John J., Lester, Martin & Vincent Daugherty.

Pallbearers to serve are Jonathan Coffman, Gregory Allen Bowers, Jerrett Smith, James Bull, Kyle Smith, Sr. & Kyle Smith, Jr.
