Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Jane Fleming, age 90, of Allons will be conducted 1 p.m., Wednesday May 24, 2017 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Bro. Alan Judd will officiate. Burial will be in the Overton County Memorial Gardens. Family will welcome friends on Tuesday evening from 5 to 8 p.m
Mrs. Clara Fleming passed from this life on Sunday afternoon, May 21, 2017 at her home. She was born in Overton County on January 24, 1927 to the late George & Mae Eldridge Brown. She worked at Brown's Market in Allons. She loved her children and her grandchildren were very special to her. She loved gardening & canning and enjoyed her flowers. She was a member of Allons Church of Christ.
She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Vaughn & husband Charles of Rickman, Tn; sons, Kevin Fleming & wife Sandra of Allons, Larry Fleming & wife Pattie of Allons; grandchildren, Emily Vaughn, Amanda Brittingham, Rebecca Vaughn, Kara Brady, Matthew Fleming; great grandchildren, Hallie Brittingham, Kate Brittingham; Brother, Wayne Brown, of Allons, TN; sisters, Elene Gunnels, & June Adams, Kingsport, TN.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her Husband, Albert Fleming; Brothers, Bud, Frank, & Clois Brown; sister Doris Davis.
