He served his country during the Korean Conflict as an Infantry Sargent for the United States Army.

EC Reagan was a very influential man in his community and his family. He was a husband, father, grandfather & great grandfather who you could always count on. He taught his children and grandchildren and many others how to fish and stressed the importance of saving a dollar. He has battled so much in his life. From leaving a young wife and new baby to defend his country to being diagnosed with bile duct cancer at the age of 85. He was a fighter and loved life. EC loved his wife Jo, she was his rock. He also loved his family and friends with all of his heart. He enjoyed reading his Bible daily, it brought him peace with just the very touch of the pages. EC was a true Dale Hollow legend. He was "Mr. Muskie" and still holds all the records for the most Muskie ever caught over 40 inches, right now the record is 55.
