Graveside services for Mrs. Mary Ethel Copeland Sells, age 99, of Livingston will be conducted 1 p.m., Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at the Fredonia Cemetery. Rev. James Shenko will officiate. The family will welcome friends on Monday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Speck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Sells passed from this life on Saturday morning, June 24, 2017 at the Cottage in Livingston. She was born in Overton County, September 8, 1917 to the late Steven Ashburn & Cora D. Jackson Copeland. Mrs. Ethel was a homemaker. She loved life and helping others. She had a amazing memory and always took pleasure in wishing all of her family, friends and neighbors happy birthday. She always took care of her family and neighbors no matter the task and enjoyed collecting pictures.
Mrs. Sells is survived by her son, Ray Sells & wife Joan of Monroe, TN; daughters, Sandra Day & husband Randell of Knoxville, TN & Judy Billingsley & husband Wayne of Woodstock, GA; grandchildren, Darrell Sells & wife Michelle, David Sells & wife Cynthia, Barbara Haley & husband Rick, Leslie Clark & husband Steve & James Billingsley & wife Adrian; 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Coger M. Sells; great granddaughter, Jessica Sells; brothers, Luther Copeland & Curtis Copeland; sisters, Enna Mae Copeland, Lottie Ferrell, Vada Pitman & Betty Free.
