Funeral services for Mr. James Billy Hogue, age 78, of Livingston will be conducted 2 p.m., Sunday, August 6, 2017, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Brian Hogue & Bro. Jerry Harris will officiate. Burial will be in the Overton County Memorial Gardens. The family will welcome friends on Saturday evening from 5 until 9 p.m. at Speck Funeral Home.

Mr. James Billy Hogue passed from this life at the Overton County Health and Rehab, on Friday morning, August 4, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in on July 11, 1939 to the late Bedford & Beulah Bowman Hogue. He and Coleen were married for 56 wonderful years and raised 4 beautiful children. He loved his children, going to church and helping others. He also enjoyed fishing, working on cars and all other kinds of machinery.

James is survived by his loving wife, Sylvia Coleene Hogue of Livingston, TN; daughters, Sheila Greene & husband Dennis of Livingston, TN, Cindy Robbins & husband David of Livingston, TN, Amy Warren & husband Jay of Livingston, TN; Son, Brian Hogue & wife Pricilla of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, John Ross Robbins & special friend Stephanie Sherfield of Murfreesboro, TN, Brittany Greene of Mr. Julliet, TN, Kandra Danner & husband Josh, of Livingston, TN, Rebekah, Mason & Jacob Hogue of Murfreesboro, TN; sisters, Edna Smith & husband Denny of Dodson's Branch, Joyce Ramsey & Junior of Algood, TN;

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Joe Hogue, Melvin Hogue & John Hogue; sisters, Essie Hogue & Jean Rayburn.

Pallbearers to serve include; Roger Hogue, Tony Bilbrey, Marty Bull, Greg Walker, Jack Howard & David Langford.
