Funeral services for Mr. Charles Linder, age 84, of the Alvin Garrett Lane in Livingston will be conducted 2 p.m., Thursday, August 17, 2017 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Bro. Jerry Harris will officiate. Burial will be in the Overton County Memorial Gardens. The family will welcome friends on Wednesday evening from 5 until 9 p.m. & on Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of services.
Mr. Linder passed from this life in the comfort of his home on Monday morning, August 14, 2017. He was born in Overton County Tennessee to the late Sherman & Reba Morgan Linder. He attend the Oak Grove School up to the 8th grade. He was a farmer and enjoyed living off the land. Charles loved his children, grandchildren, fishing and family get togethers.
Charles is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Mrs. Lucille Walker Linder of Livingston, TN; sons, Kenneth Linder & wife Melissa of Livingston, TN & Keith Linder & wife Vicky of Livingston, TN.; daughters, Linda Norris of Livingston, TN & Carolyn Choate & husband Bobby of Jamestown, TN; several grandchildren & great grandchildren, nieces and nephews & friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sons, Charles Mark Linder & Joe Shoemake; brothers, Roy, J.B., Bill & Junior Linder; sisters, Eva Nell Qualls, Bessie Holman, Betty Richardson & Versie Linder.
