Funeral services for Mrs. Orlean Davis White, age 94, of Monroe will be conducted 2 p.m., Saturday, August 19, 2017 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Rev. Kathie Bowles will officiate. Burial will be in the Monroe Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Friday evening from 5 until 8 p.m.
Mrs. White passed from this life on Tuesday morning, August 15, 2017 at the Vanderbilt Medical Center. She was born July 14, 1923 in Overton County to the late John Bill & Cora Edith McDonald Davis. Orlean enjoyed being with her family, quilting, gardening & cooking. She was a member of the Midway Christian Church.
She is survived by her son, Jerry White of Monroe, TN; daughter, Elaine Larson of Cleveland, OH; grandchildren, Kara Lauren & Lindsey Yoh, Ryan Robbin & David Larson & Kelley White; great granddaughter, Natalie Larson & great grandson, Andrew Schill.
In addition to her parents, Orlean was preceded in death by her husband Dick White; sons, Garry White & Joe White; daughter, Sue Yoh; brothers, Hoy Davis & Eck Davis; sisters, Cloa Reagan, Leida Conner & Laura Hancock.
