Celebration of Life services for Mr. Garry Lyle Marcy, age 68, of Gainesboro will be conducted 2 p.m., Saturday, September 23, 2017 from the Speck Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Ricky Lacy will officiate. Burial will be in the Campground Cemetery. The family will welcome friends at the time of service.
Garry passed from this life on Monday morning, September 18, 2017 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was born February 9, 1949 in Danbury, Connecticut to Dorothy Bessie Meade Marcy & the late Wiliam Leroy Marcy. Garry loved to cook and enjoyed the season of Christmas. He painted many wonderful works of art, and he was also a dance instructor for many years.
He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Skinner & husband Michael of Allons, TN; sons, Aaron Marcy, Jason Marcy & Nathan Marcy; brothers, Wayne Marcy of CA, Bill Marcy of SC & Rex Marcy of TN; grandchildren, Jaron Marcy, Justin Skinner & Gracie Skinner; mother, Dorothy Marcy.
He was preceded in death by his father.
