Funeral services for Mr. Ricky Dean Phillips, age 57, of Crossville and formerly of Overton County will be conducted 10 a.m., Saturday, October 14, 2017 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Bro.Larry Selfwill officiate. Burial will be in the Campground Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Friday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. Mr. Ricky passed from this life on Tuesday evening, October 10, 2017 from the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born in Putnam County on August 31, 1960 to the late Norvel Elton Dolores Costello Phillips. He was Baptist in faith. Ricky enjoyed reading, westerns and playing games on his computer. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Bohannon of Crossville, TN; brother, Cody Phillips of Crossville, TN; sisters, Jacki Bolin of FL Jill Morales husband Abraham of TX; daughter, Christie Bohannon of Cookeville several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Odie Clementine "Peanut" Phillips.Pallbearers to serve are Cody Phillips, Kevin Phillips, Roger Carr, Jonathan Hunter, Donny Hunter, and Jason Hunter.
