Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Sue Woodward, age 81, of Livingston will be conducted at 2 p.m., Friday, October 20, 2017 at the First Christian Church in Livingston. Bro. Aron Dillon will officiate. Burial will follow in the Overton County Memorial Gardens. The family will welcome friends on Thursday evening from 5 until 9 p.m. at the church with an Eastern Star Service at 7 p.m. The family will welcome friends again Friday from 11 a.m. until time of the service at 2 p.m.Mrs. Margaret Sue passed from this life on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was born in Macon County, TN to the late Lee and Irene Bray Livingston on April 27, 1936. She was a 1954 graduate of Macon County High School. She was a Sales Representative at WLIV Radio Station for many years. She was a 50 year member of the Overton County Home Demonstration Club, a 50 year member of the Livingston Chapter 206 of the Eastern Star, and she was also a member of the Monroe Christian Church for over 30 years. Mrs. Margaret Sue loved her work in the church and the Eastern Star. She loved to travel. After retiring, she became a tour director and traveled extensively on the buses all over the United States with many friends in the Livingston and Upper Cumberland areas.She is survived by her son, Charlie Woodward and wife Tammie Parsons Woodward of Livingston, TN; sister, Martha McCormick and husband Gerald of Goodlettsville, TN; 2 nieces, Sonya Clark of Goodlettsville, TN and Michele Bible of Hendersonville, TN; 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Woodward.Pallbearers to serve are Tommy Stephens, Johnny Cyrus, Matt Frazier, Billy Joe Norrod, Paul David Roe, and Timmy Coleman.Honorary Pallbearers include Randy Watkins, Joel Upton, Tim Reid, Buckie Parsons, David Dixon, Rick Sidwell, Greg Norris, Adam Seber, and Ricky McDonald.Memorial Donations can be made in honor of Mrs. Margaret Sue Woodward to the Monroe Christian Church by contacting Speck Funeral Home.
