Funeral services for Mr. Donald C. Karper, Sr., age 87, of Livingston, will conducted 2 p.m., Sunday, January 7, 2018 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston. Burial will be in the Spring Chapel Cemetery in Fentress County, with Military Honors provided at Graveside, by the Honor Guard of the James T. Davis Memorial Post 5062 of the VFW in Livingston. Bro. Ted Kohr will officiate. The family will welcome friends on Sunday from 12 noon until time of service.Mr. Karper passed from this life on Thursday morning, January 4, 2018. He was born in Alliance, Ohio on January 21, 1930 to the late Carl and Beulah Davison Karper. He served his nation well as a member of the Presidential Guard during the Korean Conflict. He loved his wife for 48 years and taking care of his family. He enjoyed his crosswords puzzles, grocery shopping, and cooking. He is survived by his loving wife, Mrs. Lorine Karper of Livingston, TN; Sons, Christopher Karper, Sr. wife Debbie of Statesboro, GA, Donald Karper, Jr of Livingston, Keith Karper of Livingston; daughter, Danielle Nielsen husband Arthur of Cookeville; Grandchildren, Christopher Karper, Jr., Daniel Logan, Carl Pullum; Brothers, James Karper wife Charlotte of San Bernadino, CA Del Karper wife Rolann of Redlands, CA; Sister-in-Law Mattie Longbrake husband Pat of Parma, Ohio.In addition to, his parents he is preceded in death by special cousin Donna Taylor.Pallbearers to serve are Donald Karper, Jr., Keith Karper, Christopher Karper, Sr., Arthur Nielsen, Carl Pullum, Greg Smith, Daniel Logan, ChristopherKarper, Jr.
