Funeral Services for Mr. Jerry Lee Windle, age 85, of Livingston will be conducted 2 p.m., Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from the Livingston First Baptist Church. Bro. Scott Allred will officiate. Burial will be in Okolona Cemetery, with Military Honors provided at graveside by the Honor Guard of the James T. Davis Memorial Post 5062 of the VFW in Livingston. The family will welcome friends at the Livingston First Baptist Church on Tuesday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of services.Mr. Windle passed from this life on Monday morning, January 8, 2018 at Overton County Health Rehab. He was born in Overton County, March 24, 1933 to the late William W. Stella Boswell Windle. He was a 1951 graduate of Livingston Academy. He served his country in the Korean Conflict. Jerry was a member of the First Baptist Church in Livingston, Sons of Confederate Veterans, and a member for over 35 years of the Tennessee Road Builders Association. Jerry loved nothing more than going deer hunting, fishing, dove shooting, hunting arrowheads and camping. A true outdoors man, Jerry lived a wonderful life and enjoyed living everyday and Thanked God for it.He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years and 9 months, Mrs. Jeanette Bowman Windle of Livingston; son, Gerald Windle of Rickman; 5 granddaughters, Taylor Windle, Chelsea Pryor, Lee Anne Pryor, Laura Windle Drennon Casey Windle Copeland; 5 great granddaughters, Chloe Edens, Gracie Edens, Lilly Copeland, Ella Copeland Abigail Copeland; several nieces nephews lots of friends.In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his daughter, Yvonne Pryor; brothers, Walter W. Windle, A.L. Windle; sisters, Mildred Stewart, Hallie Bertram, Clara WhitedPallbearers to serve are Russell Rush, Billy Windle, Terry Dillon, Derek Copeland, Patrick Whited Jason Drennon.Honorary Pallbearers are Gilbert Smith, Roddy Outen, Anthony Quentiliani, Johnny Guerry, Ira Covert, Charlie Boswell, Bill Dillon Archie Mullins.Memorial Donations may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund.
