Funeral Services for Mr. Charles Ledford, age 89, of Livingston, will be conducted 2 p.m.,Sunday, January 14, 2018 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Bro. Bill Mason will officiate. Burial will be in the Overton County Memorial Gardens with Military Honors provided at graveside by the Honor Guard of the James T. Davis Memorial Post 5062 of the VFW in Livingston. The family will welcome friends Saturday eveningfrom 5 until 9 p.m. with a Masonic service beginning at 7 p.m., then on Sunday from 12 noon until time of services.Mr. Ledford passed from this life on Wednesday morning, January 10, 2018 at Erlanger Medical Center. He was born in Overton County on March 13, 1928 to the late Thomas Verlie Winton Ledford. He was a member of the West Fork Lodge #648. Charles was a 1947 graduate of Livingston Academy. He worked for over 50 yearsin Auto Parts Sales. Charles served his country in the ARMY during the Korean Conflict. He loved the UT Vols, his grandchildren, good meals and traveling the back roads of the country side.He is survived by his loving daughters, Lisa Ledford of Cookeville, TN Jeannie Ledford Petitt husband Jeff of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, Lauren Petitt of Cookeville, TN Ashley Petitt Emily Petitt both of Chattanooga, TN; and special caregiver, Amanda Rogers.In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his loving wife, Eracine Upchurch Ledford; brothers, J.H. Houston Ledford.
