Funeral services for Mr. Billy K. Brown, age 81, of Livingston will be conducted 2 p.m., Monday, January 15, 2018, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Bro. Scott Allred will officiate. Burial will be in the Overton County Memorial Gardens. The family will welcome friends on Sunday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. on Monday from 10 a.m. until time of services.Mr. Billy Brown passed from this life on Thursday evening, January 11, 2018 at Huntsville Hospital in Alabama surrounded by his family. Billy was born in Overton County June 15, 1936 to the late James Fred Bertie Ledford Brown. He married the love of his life Ms. Nelda England on May 7, 1957. Billy loved his family most of all. He enjoyed his Sunday School Class and his Sunday School Teacher,love his yard and working in it,and loved life in general. Billy liked hunting and enjoyed bowling also watching John Wayne movies and the Tennessee Vols. He was a 1955 graduate of Livingston Academy and a member of the First Baptist Church in Livingston.Billy is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Mrs. Nelda England Brown of Livingston, TN; daughters, Glenda Elmore and husband Ron of Cedar Hill, TN and Teresa LeMay and husband Jerry of Gurley, AL; and a granddaughter, Ronda Elmore of Cedar Hill, TN. several nieces and nephews and a host of friends and neighbors.In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his brother, James Donald Brown.Pallbearers to serve are Donald Davis, Doug Davis, David Davis, Donald Brown, Joe Harpe Ryan Harpe. Honorary pallbearers to serve are his Sunday school teacher and class members.
