Funeral services for Mrs. Mary E. Morrow Coffee, age 99, of Monroe will be conducted 11 a.m., Monday, January 15, 2018 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Bro. Terry Geren and Thurman Seberwill officiate. Burial will be in the Coffee Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Sunday evening from 5 until 9 p.m. at Speck Funeral Home.Mrs. Coffee passed peacefully from this life on Saturday morning, January 13, 2018 at her daughters home in Cookeville. She was born in Overton County, May 31, 1918 to the late William Maggie Sevier Morrow. Mary was a member of the Allons Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, going to church and getting together with her family and friends.She is survived by her daughters, Jean Coffee of Cookeville, TN Verta Coffee Beaty husband Willie of Cookeville, TN; brother, Cormel Morrow of Allons, TN; sister, Melvie Brown-Bartram of Lakeland, FL; brother-in-law, Charles Eldridge of Allons, TN sister-in-law, Lillian Morrow of Bowling Green, FL.In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, John Coffee; sister, Ottie Eldridge; brothers, Lonzo, Elvis Bob Morrow.Pallbearers to serve are Durran Lewis, Roy Seber, Bob Brown, Randy Brown, Earl Day Scott Brown.Honorary Pallbearers to serve are Junior Ransom, Gail Krenke, Rose Smith, Joel Seber, Ben Sparkman, Lucille Hargis, Silvye Beason, Mary Brown, Barbara Wells, Betty Pardue the late Becky Howard.Memorial Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
