William Dale "Bill" Jungling
August 14, 1942 - January 30, 2018

William Dale "Bill" Jungling, 75, of Dumont, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton, Iowa.

Bill was born August 14, 1942, in Bristow, Iowa, the son of George and Grace (Boelman) Jungling. He was raised in rural Aplington and graduated from Aplington High School in 1960. Bill was united in marriage to Patricia Lalan on April 30, 1965, at Parkersburg Christian Reformed Church in Parkersburg, Iowa. Bill and Pat lived their entire married life in Dumont, Iowa, where Bill farmed and did custom work. He was a member of Dumont Reformed Church where he served several terms as deacon. Bill and Pat enjoyed wintering in Texas for almost ten years and looked forward to traveling to beautiful Colorado to visit their grandson Dustin. He enjoyed traveling, coffee with his friends, arguing about politics and playing checkers. But most of all, Bill loved spending time with family and friends.

Bill is survived by his wife of 52 years, Pat Jungling of Dumont, daughter Lisa (Todd) Lewis of Dumont, grandson Dustin Epple of Colorado, grandson Zachary Lewis and fiancé Anne Jorgensen of Dumont, sister Ruth (Harold) Buseman of Aplington, brother Larry Jungling of Dumont, sister-in-law Sharon Buseman of Aplington, and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents George and Grace Jungling, brother Ron Jungling and sister-in-law Jan Jungling.
