Wallace J. Ledbetter
July 29, 1935 - October 7, 2017

Funeral services for Mr. Wallace J. Ledbetter, age 82, of Hilham will be conducted 11 a.m., Tuesday, October 10, 2017 from the chapel of the Livingston Funeral Home. Bro. Cleston Ledbetter will officiate. Burial will be in the Liberty Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Monday evening from 5 until 8 p.m.

Mr. Ledbetter passed from this life on Saturday evening, October 7, 2017 from the Overton County Health & Rehab Center in Livingston. He was born in Overton County on July 29, 1935 to the late Ridley & Belle Carmack Ledbetter. He was a farmer. Wallace was Baptist in Faith and spent every chance he could fishing and working on his land.

He is survived by his son, Jeff Ledbetter & girlfriend Connie Crabtree of Jamestown, TN; daughters, Carolyn Huddleston & husband Robert of Cookeville, TN, Clara Murphy & husband James of Livingston, TN, Glenda Williams & husband Michael of the Hardys Chapel Community, Gail Ledbetter & husband Cleston of Livingston, TN, Ellen Dennis & husband Freddie of Hilham, TN & Lisa Garrett of Cookeville, TN; grandchildren, Michele Castle, Lando McCormick, Misty Short, Steve Murphy, Lisa Murphy, Matt Ward, Jonathan Ward, Clarissa Lacy, Farrah Heard, Chelsea Ledbetter, Charles Deck, Ethan Deck, Ashley Hamilton, Skylar Ricketson; & a host of great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Crabtree Ledbetter; brothers, Joe, Donald & Daryl Ledbetter; sisters, Mazelle Coffee, June Bilbrey, Janie Burchett & Judy Garrett.

Pallbearers to serve are Freddie Dennis, Ethan Deck, Charles Deck, Michael Williams, James Murphy, Chris Castle & Lando McCormick.
