Celebration of Life services for Mr. Ethan Carwile age 76, of Livingston will be conducted 4 p.m., Wednesday, February 8, 2017 from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Neely officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the Honor Guard of the James T. Davis Memorial Post 5062 of the VFW in Livingston. The family will welcome friends on Wednesday from 12 noon until time of services at 4 p.m.
Mr. Carwile passed from this life in the comfort of his home on Sunday afternoon, February 5, 2017. He was born in Overton County to the late Joseph Oscar & Magnolia Farmer Carwile. He worked as a carpenter in business construction. Ethan loved his family and spending time with them. He enjoyed woodworking & hunting. He served his country from 1960 to 1964 in the United States Marine Corps.
He is survived by the mother of his children, Bonnie Carwile of Livingston,TN; son, Alan Carwile & fiancee Emma of Livingston, TN; daughter, Cheryl Coffey & husband Dean of Livingston, TN; grandchilren, Heather Carwile, Josh Carwile, Julia Brannum & husband Brian & Stephanie & Thomas; great grandchildren, Tucker, Dawson, Jaycee, Mia, Audree, Addison, Eli, Easton, Ella & Xander; brothers, Eldon Carwile & wife Faye of Franklin, TN, Eric Carwile & wife Linda of Rickman, TN & Earl Carwile & wife Barbara of Livingston,TN; sisters, Edwina Branham & husband Howard of Hilham, TN, Elna Wilson & husband Jack of In & Estelene Morgan of Hilham, TN.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Ethna Brown, Eldrith Parsons & Evelyn Carwile.
