J. T. Ogletree
June 23, 1936 - January 28, 2016

Funeral services for Mr. J. T. Ogletree, age 79, of Livingston will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2016 from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Gore officiating. Burial will be in the Holly Springs Cemetery where there will be a military service provided by the James T. Davis Memorial Post 5062 of the VFW in Livingston. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11 a.m. until service time at 3 p.m. Mr. Ogletree passed away January 28, 2016 at the Signature Healthcare of Putnam in Algood, TN. He was born June 23, 1936 in Overton County to the late Roscoe Florence Cunningham Ogletree. He was a drafter engraving sketching monuments. He was a member of the Church of Christ and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed fishing, hunting ginseng, riding motorcycles, and playing cards. He is survived by daughters, Tamera Stafford husband, Randall of Livingston, Diane Garrett of Livingston, and Barbara Lewis and husband, Pat of Chesapeake, VA; son, Timmy Ogletree wife, Rebecca of Celina; 6 grandchildren, Angel York, Jeremy Garrett, Amber Jones, Jamie Garrett, Josh Lewis, Danielle Lewis; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, R. C. Ogletree of Lebanon; and a sister, Ellie Greer of Lebanon. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Wonnie Dailey Ogletree, son: Eddie Ogletree, sisters: Margorie Ogletree, Esther Ogletree, Ilia Ledbetter, Daisey Belle Swan, Pearl Phillips, and Rosie Wilson, and brothers: Lester, Estel, Jack, and William Oscar Ogletree. Pallbearers to serve are Jeremy Garrett, Randall Stafford, Jimmy Stearns, Jeremy Jones, Darren York, Austin Garrett. Honorary: Tyler York and Cody Garrett.
