Lester Lee Ledbetter
November 11, 1929 - June 14, 2017

Funeral services for Mr. Lester Lee Ledbetter, age 87, of Hilham, will be conducted 12 noon, Saturday, June 17, 2017, from the chapel of the Livingston Funeral Home. Bro. Grant Pennington will officiate. Burial will be in the Old Maxwell Chapel Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Friday evening from 5 until 9 p.m.

Mr. Ledbetter passed from this life on Wednesday evening, June 14, 2017 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born in Franklin County Tennessee to the late John Floyd & Lauvenie Bilbrey. He worked for Webb Construction for many years. He was a member of the House of Faith Church in Livingston. Lester loved his family, his church, fishing & raising a garden.

He is survived by his sons, Mark Ledbetter & wife Vicki of Hilham, Tn & Leon Ledbetter & wife Patti of Gainesboro; daughters, Janie Johnson of Hilham, TN, Regina Beaty & husband Jason of Monterey, TN, Janet Geesling & husband Roy of Hilham, TN, Barbara Barlow & husband Sheldon of Livingston, TN & Rita Ledbetter & husband Bruce of Alpine, Tn; sister, Edna Greenwood of Livingston; grandchildren, Roger Lewis Barlow & wife Mary Beth, Crystal K Conner & husband Matthew, Roy Joe Geesling, Matthew Geesling, Christopher Lee Ledbetter & wife Donna Kay, Leann Melton & husband Michael, Alec Joe Ledbetter, Brian Anthony Lindsey & wife Amber, Kristy Nicole Lindsey, Heather Marie Coffman & husband Jason, Billy Lee Ledbetter & wife Caitlin, Dalton Lee Smith, Mark Anthony Ledbetter Jr. & Mandi Imogene Ledbetter; 26 great grandchildren & a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Lester was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Mrs. Iris Imogene Greenwood; grandsons, Ricky Lynn Johnson & Michael Wayne Johnson; brothers, Herbert, Carl, Glen & Leonard Ledbetter; sister, Mildred Roberts.
