Funeral services for Mrs. Katie Emmogene (Hammock) Garrett, age 82, of Livingston will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 6, 2015 from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home with Bro. Nolan Cantrell Bro. Aron Dillon officiating. Burial will be in the Liberty Cemetery in Livingston. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. Mrs. Garrett passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at NHC Healthcare in Cookeville. She was born September 17, 1933 in Overton County to the late Maynord Hull "Judge" Willie Pearl Dishman Hammock. She was a farmer and Baptist in faith. She enjoyed gardening, farming cattle, and loved her dog "Lovie". She is survived by a brother sister-in-law, Clinton Ray Vicky Hammock. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother: Benton Lee Hammock, and 3 sisters: Carrie Dishman, Lassie Deck, Callie Matthews.
