Funeral services for Mrs. Hope Franklin Pardue, age 67, of Amherst, Ohio and formerly of Overton County will be conducted 2 p.m., Saturday, September 2, 2017 from the Livingston Funeral Home Chapel. Bro Nolen Cantrell will officiate. The family will welcome friends at Livingston Funeral Home on Saturday from 12 noon until time of services.Mrs. Hope passed from this life at her home on Tuesday, August 29, 2017, in Amherst Ohio. She was born January 1, 1950 in Overton County to the late Woodrow Ruth Ledbetter Franklin. She worked for many years as a custodian for the Putnam County School System. Hope loved and enjoyed being around her family, going to yard sales, and watching her mystery shows on TV, especially NCIS. Hope was a member of the Living Hope Church. She is survived by her sons, James Douglas Smith wife Vicky of Cookeville, TN, Wardrey Ray Smith of Cookeville, TN Charles Phillip Smith wife Laura Lee of Amherst, OH; grandchildren, Nikki Campbell, Emily Smith, Josh Smith, Jacob Neal, Matthew Smith Adam Smith; great grandchildren, Ryland Campbell, Leland Campbell, Kassidy Smith Grayson Smith; brothers, Terry Franklin wife Erma of Ohio Gary Ray Franklin wife Debbie of Rickman, TN; sisters, Loretta Savage of Livingston, TN, Jean Cantrell husband Harold of Anderson, IN, Carol Gillentine of Westland MI Ruth Ann Richmond of Cookeville, TN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Pardue; grandson, Benjamin Allen Smith; her first husband and father of her children, Arthur Smith. Pallbearers to serve are David Rich, Rhonda Dailey, Scott Parsons, Josh Parsons, James Parsons, Greg Parsons.

"Aunt Hope was mine and my sister Tina's favorite Aunt ....she will be missed by all who new her, she was truly one of a kind ...Aunt Hope, I hope you are with my sister Tina in heaven, I can not believe we lost you only 11 days after Tina's passing ....all of this has truly devastated my MOM and Me !!!
